Home Improvements, Here we go again.
Before we can really get to grips with our back garden, we must sort out the outside of our home.
Having attracted an unwanted woodpecker, who obviously had eyes on drilling holes into our sidings, we thought we had better find a permanent deterrent. The sidings were the original ones from the 1980s when the house was built. We decided on Hardy Plank as a replacement. This is Fiber cement siding/cladding, it’s a building material used to cover the exterior of a building in both commercial and domestic applications. Fiber cement is a composite material made of sand, cement and cellulose fibers.
Out with the old, in with the new.
You can see the difference with bare boards prior to painting.
We chose Behr paint colour Grey Seas.
Of course one thing leads to another so the shutters around the front windows we changed from black to white to match the garage door. The front door we changed from Black to a Dark Green Sherwin Williams Resilience Country Squire.
So moving on to the next Project, which is …..replacing the deck.
We have a plan!
What projects are you undertaking right now?
