Its time to start thinking about packing away some of your summer wardrobe or even donating a few items.
Fall or Autumn has arrived (I think Autumn sounds so much better), bringing with it lots of vibrant colours. Its possibly my favourite time of the year. The leaves are turning, earthy tones, bright hues of Gold, Ochre, Chestnut, Pumpkin, Spice, Bronze, Sludgy Green, Khaki, Candy Apple Red, Maroon, Burgundy, Prune. The list is endless. Look at the changing leaves on the trees for colour inspiration.
The beauty of these warm inviting colours is that they match with almost outfit
Time to transition into Autumn.
What would be your must buys for this season?
Mine right now has to be knitwear. From cardigans, wraps, ponchos, sweaters, dresses, hats, gloves, scarves (the latter two are not required just yet), the list is endless and perfect to layer. I love the feel of knitwear on my skin, so cozy.
The first buys of the Autumn season, where did I go?
Great deals, affordable prices, stores we are familiar with.
My two favourites were Ann Taylor and her sister shop Loft. Actually, there was another store that I will introduce to you later, lets just say LEATHER!
These were some of my purchases.
I chose these three tops because they can be layered, not bulky or heavy and reflect autumnal colours, just right for this season.
I also bought three long sleeved Tees, that can be paired with almost anything.
Oh, did I not mention the shopping trip also produced two shirts, one denim gillet and a jacket on this shopping trip. All of these seasonal items cost me (actually my husbands treat) around $250 total! I will share with you in another post.
Don’t you just love a bargain?
I will post pictures wearing the items when I can. More knitwear to come.
