The name Geraldine Street came about when my son was riding through Southwark in South London, England. Southwark forms part of inner London and is connected by bridges across the River Thames to the City of London. The South Bank which is part of The Southwark London Borough Council is home to London Bridge, The Shard, Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre – Reference Wikipedia.
When he saw my name Geraldine on a street sign he sent the photograph too me.
And so my blog was born, this is “My Street of Life”.
Geraldine Street is a life blog about anything and everything, from, ‘A visit to the dentist, top tips, bargain basement, vacations, books to read, D.I.Y……’ to ‘balancing home/work life and the challenges we face on a day to day basis.’
Can you turn your dreams into reality? If you believe in yourself and your ‘Why” is big enough, anything is possible.
Life is an adventure, no two streets are alike. Geraldine Street is an eclectic mix, a licorice allsorts of everything.
I cant wait to share my journey with you, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly!
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
